NUANS®/Name Reservation Reports Form
When looking into incorporating a business you will need a NUANS Reservation Report or a Provincial Name Reservation Report as a Provincial requirement to incorporate a company. These reports are there to help determine if the company name you would like has already been taken or if it will be too similar to another incorporated company.
A NUANS Report is required for the following provinces:
- Canada (Federal)
- Ontario
- Alberta
- New Brunswick
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
- Northwest Territories
A Provincial Name Reservation is required for the following provinces:
- British Columbia
- Quebec
- Manitoba
- Saskatchewan
- Newfoundland & Labrador
